Order processing and Transport

1.16 Your order will be processed and delivered without undue delay. Processing will take place during normal business hours. 

1.17 Please allow 3 to 5 working  days from receipt of order to final delivery date. In many occasions we aim to deliver within 48 hours and this is subject to seasonal demands.

1.18 Deliveries are made between 07:30 and 16:30 Monday to Friday and 07:30 to 12:00 on Saturday’s.

1.1​​​​​​9 Timed specific deliveries are not provided. Once planning is complete, we can provide an indication whether deliveries will be made AM/PM.

1.20 Unless otherwise agreed, all deliveries will be to kerbside and within reach of the vehicles crane (where applicable). Deliveries will be made to ground level only.

1.21 Payless will not be responsible for moving 3rd party materials.

1.22 Payless reserves the right not to unload goods unless there is suitable access, level ground and sufficient space to extend vehicle stabilising legs.

​​​​​​​1.23 If customers request non-kerbside deliveries as specified in 1.20, the decision will be at the sole discretion of the driver. Neither the driver or Payless will be liable for any loss or damage that occurs due to customers non-standard requests. Customers must complete our liability form prior to commencing non-kerbside deliveries.

1.24 ​​​​​​​Deliveries must be unloaded within 1 hour of arriving at the customers premises. Further delays will be chargeable at a rate of £50 per hour or part thereof.

1.25 ​​​​​​​Payless reserve the right to charge wasted transport fee of £50 if the consignment is postponed whilst in transit or, we are unable to access the customers premises to unload.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

1.26 All customers have the right to cancel their order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

1.27 Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

1.28 To meet the cancellation deadline, please notify us via email or phone about cancelling the order before the cancellation period has expired and provide a copy of your receipt for payment.

1.29 If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have cancelled the order.

1.30 We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.

1.31 Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the order, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your cancellation.

1.32 You will not have any right to cancel an order for the supply of any of the following goods:

(a) the supply of goods that are made to the customer's specification or are clearly personalised.

(b) the supply of goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly - such as a delivery of fresh flowers or meat.

(c) the supply of transport, vehicle rental services.

1.33 In addition you will lose your right to cancel if you:

(a) unseal goods that are not suitable for return if they are unsealed, due to health protection or hygiene reasons.

(b) combine goods with other goods after delivery so that they become inseparable.
